We are pleased to support the Community of Gratitude food pantry. They recently lost access to a moving truck, used to secure food from Second Harvest in Orlando. We are honored to provide $6000 in funding to give Community of Gratitude access to a rental truck while they secure funding to purchase one formally.
Help donate to the process through the link above or with a check, payable to "OBG LIONS", mailed to R. Vass, 938 Orchid Street, Lady Lake, FL 32159.

We are proud to donate $6,000 to LovExtension.,
a Lake County nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of elderly and disabled individuals through direct assistance, personal outreach, and compassionate community support.
LovExtension helps reduce isolation and hardship by providing food deliveries, personal visits, essential household and medical supplies, holiday assistance, and ongoing care for seniors and individuals with disabilities—especially those living alone or facing financial or physical challenges.
We are proud to recognize John Holmes as a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award, the highest honor presented by Lions Clubs International Foundation.
This award recognizes individuals whose service, leadership, and integrity reflect the true spirit of “We Serve.” While many recipients are Lions members, it is also awarded to community leaders whose actions embody the mission of Lionism — and John exemplifies that standard.
A member of American Legion Post 347 and a key part of the operations team at the Bob Johnson Legacy Driving Range, John plays an essential behind-the-scenes role in coordinating maintenance and daily operations of the community-focused facility. His reliability, humility, and commitment have helped strengthen partnerships and ensure programs run smoothly for the benefit of the community.

The Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club is proud to recognize Lion Lynn Stange, who has been awarded Patron Member status in Lions Saving Sight, previously known as the Florida Lions Foundation for her outstanding commitment to vision services.
Lynn plays a vital role in the collection, sorting, and processing of thousands of donated eyeglasses each year, helping provide clear vision and improved quality of life for individuals in need both locally and worldwide. Her dedication reflects the heart of the Lions’ mission to prevent avoidable blindness and support accessible vision care.
An especially meaningful part of Lynn’s service is the opportunity to volunteer alongside her daughter, heatherseigarsvass, who is also an active member of the OBG Lions Club. As residents of Orange Blossom Gardens in The Villages, their shared service highlights how Lionism brings families together while making a real difference in the community.
